SCORING & AWARDS

Balanced scoring from professional judges leads to growth and development.
Exciting awards reward hard work and recognize accomplishments at every level.

Picture
Every performance will be critiqued according to the performer's competition level, age and category by a panel of 3 judges. Each judge will use a 100 point scale and will consider a variety of areas, such as; technique, difficulty, execution, choreography, showmanship, and overall effect. The decisions of the judges are final. Other items rated will include age-appropriateness of the routine, the music and the costume.
Judges will take into consideration the level a performance is placed versus the level of difficulty in each routine.
Each judge will give an individual critique for every entry via Video Judge.
Video Judge allows dancers and teachers to watch back their performances while listening to each judge's feedback!

Each entry will receive a mark out of 100 from each of three adjudicators where their average scores will determine a standing of: Bronze, Silver, Gold, High Gold, Platinum or Shooting Star.

Each participant will receive a beautiful SSDC medallion based upon their score.
